Presbyterian is seeking a skilled Charge Nurse Progressive Care Nurse (RN)
Under the direction of the Nursing Director works with the Department RN Manager and RN Assistant Manager as a part of the management/leadership team to provide clinical and operational shift supervision of care processes which includes patient flow exceptional care experiences quality processes patient safety and direction of unit staff in designated service area(s). May provide direct patient care

Type of Opportunity: Full Time 0.9 FTE/36 hours per week)
Work Schedule: 12 Hour Nights
Minimum ADN preparation
Experience: Minimum One year of nursing experience required
Licensure: State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License required.
Additional Requirements based upon area of service
CDS Inpatient
Progressive and Critical Care Units: ACLS
Emergency Departments: ACLS PALS
Pediatrics / PICU: PALS
Newborn Nursery / MotherBaby Care / NICU: NRP
Family Birthing Center: NRP and Fetal Monitoring; permanent charge requires ACLS in addition to others
Preop / Operating Room / PACU: ACLS PALS
Oncology Chemotherapy certification
Academic Preparation:
Degree from accredited academic nursing program (If a program is under conditional status approval may be granted by system CNO)
Minimum ADN preparation
Specialty Certifications: Specialty Certifications in area of practice preferred
