JOB DESCRIPTION

Cloverdale Catholic School is a vibrant and faithfilled community located in Surrey BC. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Grade 2 teacher for a oneyear position with the possibility of a continuing contract. This position begins in September 2025.

The ideal candidate will:

Be a practicing Catholic who is committed to nurturing the faith development of young learners.

Hold (or be eligible for) a BC Teaching Certificate.

Demonstrate a solid understanding of the BC Curriculum especially in the primary years.

Preferably have experience teaching a First Communion preparation program.

Be a collaborative team player who thrives in a supportive and innovative school environment.

Show a willingness to contribute to the life of the school through extracurricular activities.

Be faithfilled dedicated and committed to the mission of Catholic education.

On an ongoing basis we accept teacher applications for grade levels K to 12 for our Catholic schools throughout the Greater Vancouver Area and Powell River in beautiful British Columbia. All Catholics nonCatholics new education grads and experienced teachers from across Canada are strongly encouraged to apply. Our major hiring season is in April for the following school year but we recommend that you apply now as we receive an influx of applications.
