Sanctuary for Families is New Yorks leading service provider and advocate for survivors of domestic violence sex trafficking and related forms of gender violence. Every year Sanctuary empowers thousands of adults and children to move from fear and abuse to safety and stability transforming lives through a comprehensive range of services. We provide a range of wraparound services to help survivors rebuild their lives in the aftermath of abuse and work to end gender violence through three key strategies: direct services outreach and training and systemschange advocacy. Our services are available in 12 locations throughout New York City.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Project Assistants primary duties are to support Sanctuarys role in developing and providing trainings to inform and educate target audiences about technologyfacilitated intimate partner violence. Working under the Center TechnologyFacilitated Abuse Initiative the Project Assistants responsibilities include assistance in managing training scheduling and coordination; editing and distributing training materials; research and supportive assistance to develop and update trainings and more. This position works out of the Queens Family Justice. This position is temporary parttime tentatively through December 2025.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Budgeted Salary: $28.93 $31.95 per hour
Work position is TemporaryParttime (standard 21hrs/3days per week); Hourly/NonExempt
Work schedule is currently Hybrid; must be able to meet job location schedule obligation
