Check out this opportunity to work in our busy Orthopedic Clinic focusing specifically on our Pediatric patients.

This LPN will work with a variety of orthopedic issues in patients from birth to 16/17 years of age. This is a hands on position where you will learn how to place/remove casts and splints remove staples/sutures assist with dressing changes rooming of patients assist with sterile procedures as needed establish relationships with patients and families and work directly with skilled Providers.

The clinic is open Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm with no weekends or major holidays.

Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will participate in the implementation and evaluation of patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse advanced practice provider or physician.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

If position requires IV therapy/management skills the following is required in North Dakota: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.

Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multistate licensure privileges. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
