Job Description
Holt CAT in Irving Texas is looking for a experienced component rebuild Shop Service Technician. This position is responsible for providing highquality repair service on heavy equipment in a shop environment in order to respond to customer needs in a positive caring and timely manner and to ensure maximum value for work performed. Must have 3 years experience on heavy construction equipment. The hours of the position are MondayFriday 7 AM 4 PM. There is a sign on bonus available for qualified candidates.
Qualifications:
A qualified candidate must have the following skills or abilities:
- Troubleshoot and perform complex repairs correctly in the shop such as pumps hydraulic engine transmissions HVAC and electrical issues and repairs.
- At least3 years of field or shop service tech troubleshooting and repair skills of heavy equipment such as dozers backhoes frontend loaders excavators etc.
- Ability to troubleshoot diagnose and repair equipment using electronic and manual equipment to determine failure.
- Able to document all work orders properly
- GED or High School Diploma preferred.
- Diesel Tech Schooling is highly desired.
- Must have a steady employment history.
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- Must have the ability to obtain a forklift license.
Ability to frequently reach bend walk etc.
- Must be able to lift 50 poundsapproximately5 times a day.
Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy is required.
- Excellent attendance is required.
- Must be able to work MondayFriday 7 AM 4 PM.
- Ability to be productive by working efficiently and effectively with a high energy level.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Must have own tools.
