This advanced firmware development position will be part of the Automotive and Energy Solutions (AES) group of Keysight Technologies. AES solutions focus on the emerging markets related to automotive and energy including energy storage gridedge technologies power semiconductor and electric vehicles. In addition to firmware development this position also offers FPGA and software development opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with technology planners and lead customers to identify and define custom and global solutions.
- Collaborate across technical domains to architect and plan product development.
- Design develop test and deploy firmware for electronic test and measurement equipment (Power Supplies DMMs Oscilloscopes).
- Manage project priorities deadlines and deliverables.
- Demonstrate passion for learning and seek development opportunities for self and team.
Job location: Loveland CO.
Job Qualifications
Required:
- BS or MS in Computer Science Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 5 years of embedded firmware development experience.
- Strong knowledge and development experience with C/C.
- Knowledge of modern objectoriented design methodologies Agile development processes and tools.
- Experience with embedded operating systems (WinCE Linux)
- Experience with Integrated Development Environments (Eclipse Visual Studio WinCE) and open source compilers/debuggers (GCC GDB)
- Desire to work closely with hardware ability to understand schematics and circuit diagrams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able legally work in the U.S. without requiring present/future sponsorship for employment.
Desired:
- Experience with FPGA/digital design and simulation tools.
- Proficient user of Linux Operating Systems
- .NET and C# development experience.
- Knowledge and experience with electronic measurements.
- Willingness/desire for global travel to provide technical support for direct customer engagements.
