Job Description
Hermiston School District is seeking qualified applicants to serve oncall as a substitute teacher. The successful candidates willwork oncallperforming teaching duties within the Hermiston School District. Oregon Teacher license or the ability to obtain one required.
Hermiston School Districts Substitute Teacher pay forwill be:
$238.40 / full day
$119.20 /half day
To be eligible for an Oregon Substitute Teaching license the applicant must:
Hold a Bachelors degree or higher from a regionallyaccredited institution in the United States or hold a foreign equivalent degree as approved by the Oregon licensing commission Teacher Standards and Practices (official transcripts required)
- Must be able to successfully pass a fingerprint based background clearance check.
If you do not hold a Bachelors degree but are currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree Teacher Education/Licensure program there is a District Sponsored Substitute license available.
