The primary purpose of the position is to provide agencywide support and consultation to Correction Enterprises management and staff in the areas of overall business management strategic planning fiscal responsibility profitandloss management cash balance maintenance budgeting strategy and financial planning and financial recordkeeping. The position provides oversight of multiple core business functions to Correction Enterprises management and staff for the whole organization which includes twentyseven statewide Correction Enterprises plant operations. The position serves in a leadership role and provides centralized business expertise support and consultation.

Proven experience analyzing complex financial data in a forprofit industry and advising senior level staff on the financial health of the company
Proven experience creating detailed financial reports that consolidate data from various forprofit business units
Documented experience developing pricing models for a forprofit industry
Demonstrated knowledge of North Carolina Correction Enterprises Plant system and financial reporting
Experience utilizing ERP systems in the private sector
Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suit (Excel Words Outlook)

Per NC General Statute 143B972.1 applicants hired into a position certified as a criminal justice officer or justice officer are required to electronically submit fingerprints to the NC State Bureau of Investigation for a state and national criminal history record check and enrollment in the FBIs Next Generation Identification System: Criminal Justice Record of Arrest and Prosecution Background Service (RAP Back). This is in addition to submitting fingerprints during the application process.
