Job Description

Description of Work

The primary purpose of the position is to provide agencywide support and consultation to Correction Enterprises management and staff in the areas of overall business management strategic planning fiscal responsibility profitandloss management cash balance maintenance budgeting strategy and financial planning and financial recordkeeping. The position provides oversight of multiple core business functions to Correction Enterprises management and staff for the whole organization which includes twentyseven statewide Correction Enterprises plant operations. The position serves in a leadership role and provides centralized business expertise support and consultation.


This is an Internal Posting open ONLY for current North Carolina Department of Adult Correction employees and eligible RIF Candidates from NC State Government. To include eligible current Temporary Employees.


This is a fulltime position 40 hours per week) with StateBenefits

Bachelors degree in accounting business finance or other discipline related to the area of assignment from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of progressive related experience one year of which should be in a supervisory role

An equivalent combination of education and experience.
