Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our Cyber/Data/Privacy (c/d/p) practice group in Washington DC focusing on litigation and regulatory enforcement investigations involving privacy and data security matters. The ideal candidate will have 6 years of experience in regulatory investigations or litigation including consumer protection issues and defending data privacy and security class actions. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior associate to take on a leadership role in an expanding awardwinning practice and work on highprofile cases in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead litigation and regulatory enforcement investigations related to privacy and data security.
- Defend data privacy and security class actions including claims under the Stored Communications Act wiretapping and data breaches.
- Manage significant projects and engage directly with clients.
- Supervise and mentor junior associates while contributing to the growth of the practice.
- Collaborate with a team of over 30 attorneys across the US UK Europe and Asia.
Qualifications:
- 6 years of experience in privacy and data security litigation and/or regulatory investigations.
- Strong background in consumer protection issues and defending class actions.
- Proven ability to manage cases and lead client relationships.
- High academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school.
- Strong analytical writing and communication skills.
- Tech fluency and the ability to engage with clients on complex matters.
