Job Overview How Youll Contribute:
Do you love cars and have a passion for driving Join our growing Service Department at HH Chevy as a Parts Delivery Driver! In this role you will assist in many areas within the Service and Parts Departments. This is an excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door and learn about dealership operations. Brand New StateoftheArt facility!
The Parts Delivery Driver is responsible for performing the following tasks:
- Assist in organizing and loading orders for delivery.
- Load truck in a manner to avoid any damage or loss of merchandise.
- Deliver orders in the most efficient time manner and collect signed invoices and cash when necessary.
- Assist in getting all parts department trash to the appropriate dumpster.
- Assist in getting all janitorial supplies to the appropriate closets.
- Maintenance of the delivery truck; including the scheduling of needed services maintaining the gas oil and the appearance of the delivery vehicle.
- Report to supervisor between runs or after the final delivery and assist with other duties such as cleaning or organizing in the warehouse
Schedule: Hours are 7:30am4:30pm MondayFriday.
Qualifications What You Need to be Successful:
- A clean driving record.
- Ability to drive a manual transmission preferred but not required.
- Perform bending pushing climbing leaning twisting reaching kneeling crouching and other maneuvers associated with the position.
- Ability to walk briskly up to 500 yards frequently throughout a shift.
- Ability to lift 50100 lbs. throughout the day.
- High energy partnered with a positive attitude.
- Desire to grow learn and advance within the company.
