Work hours: PRN Days; Start time between 7:00am and 8:30am; Some Saturday coverage needed

Heres What You Need
Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology required
Associate degree preferred
2 years of clinical experience in mammography required and
1 year of digital experience preferred
ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Mammography upon hire required and
CMRT Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist Either by the TDH or TMB upon hire required and
BCLS Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required

What You Will Do
Staff supervision and coordination of daily department activities
Schedules staff to provides adequate staff coverage including vacation schedules absenteeism and turnover
Oversees orientation training and crosstraining of new staff to department assesses their ability to work independently communicates policies and procedures to staff and verifies orientation paperwork
Assists in implementing and monitoring performance evaluation procedures establishing professional development goals and counseling staff on an ongoing basis as appropriate.
Acts as a technical resource for staff by providing ongoing instruction and assistance with procedures equipment and PAC
Performs mammograms and diagnostic radiographs.
Produce quality images in mammography as defined by the American College of Radiology guidelines.
