We are seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join our team. This entrylevel assistant position is ideal for individuals with prior experience in administrative roles such as administrative assistant receptionist or similar positions who are eager to learn and grow within the Human Resources field. You will receive training in key HR functions including employee onboarding benefits administration and employee relations while supporting the daytoday operations of the department.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
The Human Resources Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Human Resources Department by managing new hire onboarding and orientation processes organizing training sessions assisting with company meetings and events and performing various clerical tasks to ensure efficient HR operations all while maintaining strict confidentiality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform new hire onboarding by greeting new employees and verifying I9 documentation to ensure compliance. Share information on benefits payroll attendance and scheduling. Send onboarding materials including the benefits guide and 401(k) enrollment information. Take new hire photos and create and distribute employee ID badges.
Coordinate New Hire Orientation by assigning it to new employees tracking completion and updating the presentation content as needed.
Provide administrative support to the HR Department and company leadership including scheduling meetings preparing correspondence and creating announcements.
Coordinate and support training sessions by preparing the room setting up equipment and ensuring all materials and resources are ready to go.
Assist in the planning and of company meetings and HRled initiatives such as Open Enrollment.
Support HR projects and initiatives including research document preparation and assistance with implementation efforts.
Track and monitor employee evaluations including 30 60 and 90day reviews quarterly conversations and annual performance reviews.
Maintain accurate and uptodate records in the HRIS system and personnel files.
Respond to general employee inquiries related to available employee resources.
Maintain strict confidentiality of all human resources and employeerelated information.
Perform other jobrelated duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an administrative support role required
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook Teams)
Excellent verbal written and organizational skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
WORKING CONDITIONS
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
May be required to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
