Job title: Claims Handler
Salary: 30000

OVERVIEW
An excellent opportunity is available with our client in the insurance sector. Were here to connect them with an experienced Claims Handler to join their team. This fulltime permanent role offers officebased or hybrid working options. You will manage a variety of claims negotiate settlements and ensure the best outcomes for clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Advise clients and brokers on claims and settlements
- Handle claims across Motor/Fleet Property and Liability lines within SLAs
- Negotiate settlements with insurers loss adjusters and service providers
- Represent the business at industry events and networking opportunities
- Maintain accurate claims records and ensure compliance with regulations
QUALIFICATIONS
- Cert CII or Dip CII (or working towards)
- CILA qualification (desirable)
DAYTODAY
- You will manage claims from start to settlement
- Support broker teams
- Attend team meetings as required
- Maintain accurate records in claims systems
SKILLS
- Strong knowledge of insurance risk assessment and underwriting
- Proficient in Acturis Microsoft Office and insurer platforms
- Excellent communication and relationship management
- Ability to mentor junior staff
EXPERIENCE
- Claims handling experience across Motor/Fleet Property Liability and related sectors
- Understanding of FCA regulations and compliance
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client and insurer relationships
