Job Description
Salary/Position Classification
- $14.00 hourly NonExempt (Eligible for overtime)
- 1020 hours per week and 40 hours in the summer break
- 100 Remote Work Availability: No
- Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No
Purpose of Position
This is a parttime nonbenefited position. Only UND undergrad students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform relocation and setup of office furniture and equipment.
- Perform repairs or assist in performance of more difficult repairs to building such as door closures hinges weather stripping painting and plumbing.
- Performs mowing/snow removal and yard work operating tractors mowers and snowblower; and performs maintenance on this equipment.
- Assist in overhauling and installing motors pumps and bearing; performs pressure differential checks in HVAC systems installs electrical conduit to assist electrician and HVAC trades works.
Required Competencies
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Strong oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Able to work independently and part of a team
Minimum Requirements
- Able to stand 34 hours at a time
- Can move 4550 pounds
- The ability to understand and complete required training for the job classification.
- Successful completion of criminal history records check

Preferred Qualifications
- Competent in the use of hand and power tools.
- Interior/exterior painting experience.
