UX Designer(Contract Hybrid Remote/Onsite Toronto)
The UX Designers responsibilities during thisphase are to build an understanding of the problem space/statement the longand shortterm business goals and the user and business needs.
o Facilitatethe Kickoff meeting with the project team to produce such outputs as:
o Business Model Canvas: 5 Whys UserPersonas Stakeholder Mapping Strategy Map
o Short and LongTerm Goals Fears andChallenges Problem Statement
o Facilitateuser research activities to produce such outputs as:
o User interview topic Maps a summary ofinterrelated topics for the user interview
o User Interview Scripts to plan andguide user discussion
o User Interview Synthesis (collectionaggregation and analysis) of written observations recorded during each interview
o User research findings report
o UserStoryboard to communicate a story through images displayed in a sequence ofpanels that chronologically maps the storys main events.
o TechnicalService Blueprinta diagram that displays the entire process of servicedelivery including support systems by listing all the activities that happen ateach stage performed by the different roles involved
o Definedbusiness Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
o Optionallyconduct Google Ventures five 5 Day Design Sprint (or variation). Thissprintisa five 5 day process for answering critical business questionsthroughdesign prototyping and testing ideas with customers
o Produceclickable prototypes of multiple possible solutions
o Validateclickable prototypes with users through usability testing sessions andproduce research findings report
o Iterate(improve) on clickable prototypes with insights garnered from researchfindings report
o Userinterview topic maps a summary of interrelated topics for the user interview
o Userinterview scripts to plan and guide user discussion
o Userinterview synthesis (collection aggregation and analysis) of writtenobservations recorded during each interview
Requirements
- Extensive experience in using UXdesign best practices to design solutions and a deep understanding ofmobilefirst and responsive design.
- Ability to iterate your designsand solutions efficiently and intelligently.
- 4 years of relevant experience inparticipating in complex projects (products) of different sizes ensuringalignment to plans best practices and incorporating usercentred designprocesses and agile (scrum) methodologies.
- Expertise in UX software such asJustInMind InVision Sketch Adobe HTML5 CSS3 is an asset
