Job Summary:
Teach assigned workforce courses including linked courses (credit/noncredit) in accordance with the course syllabus and college policy. Continue to update and revise course content and teaching methodology in order to maintain currency and relevance in the respective industry. Maintain familiarity with current texts materials teaching aids and techniques relative to courses within the discipline and recommend their adoption when appropriate. Establish professional relationships with respective industry partners to enhance student job and career readiness.Required Qualifications:

For Lab Courses:
Supplemental Functions
Associate degree from a regionally accredited institution is required. Bachelors degree preferred.
Two 2 years fulltime professional experience as a sonographer and/or vascular technologist. (Fulltime is defined as 35 hours per week).
Community college or university teaching experience is desired.
Licenses and Certifications
Appropriate credential(s) specific to the concentrations offered required: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (AB) and Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (OB/GYN) or R.T.(S)(ARRT).
Additional credentialing in vascular sonography preferred.
