Our Public Health Intelligence (PHI) team is crucial in enhancing health outcomes increasing life expectancy and reducing health inequalities within our communities. The team plays a crucial role in enhancing health outcomes increasing life expectancy and reducing health inequalities within our communities through data analysis and presentation to influence decisions. We are committed to providing robust data and intelligence to empower our consultants and specialists in understanding and addressing the current and future health needs of our population.
As a Public Health Scientist you will be responsible for managing significant public health programs interpreting complex data and providing expert analysis to drive informed decisionmaking within our organisation. Your role will involve collaborating with key stakeholders presenting data and findings to diverse audiences and ensuring the efficient collection and dissemination of public health information.
For this role candidates should possess a relevant first degree or equivalent professional experience coupled with a postgraduate degree or professional qualification in public health or a related discipline. Expertise in public health information analysis statistical concepts and proficiency in analytical software such as Power Bi and mapping software such as GIS are essential.
