Innovative swim school is looking for Swim Instructors and lifeguards to join our team in the Williamsburg area this 2021!
Our unique/ fun method and dedication to advanced swimming at a young age requires someone who is passionate for both swimming and children.
We are looking for anyone who can be in the water for extended periods time loves children/babies is self motivated and wants to grow within a company.
We welcome all types of people with varied back rounds as we feel that a diverse team can offer more to our clients. We have reopened one location and are hoping to reopen our second within the next two months! We are looking for hard working and dedicated people join us in this journey as we expand.
We provide swim instruction to our community that builds confidence and develops safety skills in a studentcentered environment. We are committed to training our staff to teach swim lessons giving them the tools they need to be successful. This is a diverse inclusive and supportive workplace.

As a swim instructor you are responsible for the safety of each class and teaching swim skills to students using our curriculum. You will work to build water confidence within your students encouraging each student to rise to the best of their abilities. You can expect to be regularly communicating with students and fellow staff members. You should be someone who welcomes feedback and is a continuous learner. As a swim instructor you will report to the Deck Supervisor or Site Supervisor during shifts and provide support throughout the pool deck as needed.
We have a fun and rewarding work environment with a great atmosphere for someone who loves teaching and being around water. We offer paid training. Starting wage is negotiable with prior experience. This is a parttime position that requires afternoon/evening and weekend shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Make sure everyone is safe.
- Love and respect students while teaching them to swim.
- Be a team player who is who is consistently dependable and reliable.
- Complete required training and be a continual learner.
- Follow our curriculum with a focus on the needs abilities and comfort of each student.
- Smile and have fun during your entire shift.
Qualifications:
- Caring and compassion for children and adults
- Ability to work in the water for extended periods of time
- Strong communication skills
- Great attitude and willingness to be coached
- The ability to focus in a fastpaced environment
- The ability to commit to at least 1 year of employment weekdays and weekends required
- Comfortable speaking with parents and working with small children
- Enthusiastic energetic and motivated
- Reliable and punctual is very important
- Legal to work in the USA

What experience you have
Requirements for Lifeguards
Must be Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED certified and up to date
Maintain pool area. Set up the swim equipment and put it away at the end of the day.
For higher starting salaries must have a strong swim background and be lifeguard certified commit to a schedule and have solid attendance. Repeated call outs and lateness is not permitted.
$15$18/hour depending on qualifications dedication and commitment!

Member schools are independently owned and operated. Your application will go directly to the member school and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this school.
