Job Description
Be a key player in our ambitious global mission to revolutionize modern cell production through cuttingedge IoT and connectivity solutions. Were building a stateoftheart platform that connects our industryleading instrument portfolio and we need your expertise to bring it to life. As part of a passionate agile team you will play a key role in shaping and evolving our Cell Factory Software and in designing a featurerich multidevice cockpit that goes beyond the lab delivering realtime insights anywhere theyre needed.
You will translate architectural visions into robust scalable code and serve as link between our software architect and the development team.
You will collaborate closely with fellow developers offering support and sharing expertise while helping to shape innovative solutions for integrating internal and external systems.
You will explore emerging technologies build new features and continuously improve the functionality of our connectivity devices.
You will deliver clean maintainable and highperformance software in C (ideally C17 or newer); you will design and maintain APIs protocols and data formats that ensure seamless interoperability across systems.
You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams from IT and QA to Marketing and Customer Service in an international dynamic environment.
Qualifications :
You have successfully finished your academic education in Computer Science Natural Science (e.g. Bioinformatics Mathematics Physics Statistics) or similar.
You have proven professional experience in a role similar to the one described above. You have an excellent understandingof serviceoriented software development and experience in developing software for connectivity integration orsynchronization.
Furthermore you need to have exceptionally good knowledge of modern C (preferably C17 or newer) and be interested in continuing to develop in this language.
Ideally you have knowledge of the following technologies: Typescript Go messagebased systems like NATS or MQTT cloud technologies and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. However we are also open to candidates who are eager to learn these technologies.
You have excellent problem solving and communication skills and fluent English (at least on level B2 Germanwould be a plus. Your agile mindset enables you to break down requirements and design them into manageable increments and pieces.
