The Opportunity
Join Roches Global Internship Program in Innovation & Sustainability #IP2TIS) and be part of a groundbreaking project that leverages cuttingedge technology to transform blood donation screening and blood bank management. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on a highimpact initiative that aligns with Roches 10year ambitions and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
As an intern you will:
- Collaborate on the development of AIpowered detection systems and advanced algorithms to enhance blood safety and efficiency.
- Contribute to creating a connection system between blood banks and advancing total laboratory automation fostering innovation in transfusion medicine.
- Gain handson experience as a global pharmaceutical leader working alongside experts in technology healthcare and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and implement AIdriven solutions for blood donation screening.
- Develop and optimize advanced algorithms to improve blood bank management systems.
- Contribute to the integration of total laboratory automation and connection systems between blood banks.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders showcasing the projects impact on innovation and sustainability.

Who You Are
You are enrolled or have completed your Masters studies at a university preferably in the field of Pharmacy (Heamobiology) Artificial intelligence Engineering (AI) Algorithm Developer Engineering and Biology (Microbiology)
within the last 12 months and are interested in applying your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship of at least 3 months and getting to know the pharmaceutical industry.
Furthermore you are
Required Qualifications:
Strong interest in applying AI and technology to solve realworld healthcare challenges.
Basic understanding of algorithms development data analysis or system integration.
Excellent problemsolving and collaboration skills.
Proactive attitude with a growth mindset and problemsolving skills
Advanced English proficiency
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience or coursework in healthcare innovation sustainability Infection diseases or transfusion medicine.
Familiarity with software development coding or app design.
