Job Description
The rapidly growing Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) service at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital (VTH) provides access to high quality emergency and inpatient care for patients 24 hours a day 365 days per year. The Service Liaison responsibilities include but are not limited to: supporting both the VTH faculty and staff in ensuring clinical and billing information is completed accurately and entered into the VTH electronic medical record system; helping facilitate communication between the ECC other services in the VTH and with clients; conducting follow up calls with clients and referring/primary veterinarians and performing other administrative tasks to support the services goals. The successful candidate must be an excellent communicator possess strong problem solving and prioritization skills and thrive in a fastpaced environment with a diverse team of professionals.

Required Qualifications
Previous clerical office or customer service experience; excellent communication and interpersonal skills both on the telephone and in person; organization skills; demonstrated ability to meet deadlines; strong computer skills; problem solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a medical or veterinary clinic urgent care or emergency department; previous experience using an electronic medical record system; working knowledge of medical terminology.
