SUPPORT SERVICES ATTENDANT
(TEMPORARY PART TIME)
One 1 Temporary Part Time Support Services Attendant position is available within our Support Services Department at Groves Memorial Community Hospital.
Responsible for providing a clean and safe environment performing room set ups and moving furniture; prepare assemble deliver serve and store food within the patient care and cafeteria settings; porting patients within the facility and managing supply of transfer equipment; and receiving and the flow of supplies through the facility. Adhering to guidelines and standards set by Ministry of Environment PIDAC (Provincial Infections Diseases Advisory Committee) Government of Canadas Food and Drug Act and Public Health Ontario.
This position is unionized with UNIFOR Local 1106.
QUALIFICATIONS:
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Physical demands of the job require tasks that involve repeated lifting bending kneeling standing walking pushing carts periodic climbing which include ladders operation of floor machines and other equipment
SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
HOURS OF WORK: According to department schedule including weekends on a rotating basis
SALARY: $23.10 to $23.88 per hour
