A qualified candidates will demonstrate a commitment to creating a culturally responsive curriculum and environment where students from our diverse community will thrive. This position is full time teaching at a minimum 30 credits per academic year. This position is onsite and class times vary but are typically held Monday through Friday. There is no option for this position to be remote.
Primary Responsibilities:
Teach a wide range of sales and marketing courses across the curriculum.
Facilitate student learning through mentoring and engaging with students in settings individualizing learning strategies in support of our students.
Collaborate with colleagues and students cultivating an inclusive equitable and culturally responsive learning environment.
Design and revise the curriculum through an equityminded studentcentered antiracist lens.
Ensures the course content and teaching resources are inclusive and designed to encompass students enrolled in our programs eliminating barriers and creating a culturally responsive pedagogy.
Engage in college committees and activities driven to ensure a culturally responsive culture.
Provide holistic support designed to foster student success and the development of students engagement in lifelong learning.
Support continuous improvement efforts utilizing assessment data to bolster accreditation efforts. Including learning and assessment to improve student learning and close equity gaps and institutional performance gaps.
Minimum Qualifications
Must meet minimum qualifications for faculty credentialing in Business General (Field #500118. Please refer tothe MN State Credentialing Website at:
Requirement
Masters degree in business administration or business management; or
Masters degree with a minimum of 27 graduate quarter/18 semester credits in business administration and/or business management.
Preferred Qualifications
Marketing and sales education focus
Experience integrating simulationbased learning technologies into curriculum
Teaching experience at the postsecondary level preferably at a twoyear college
Prior online experience using D2L Brightspace platform or equivalent information management system
Demonstrated commitment to quality instruction and continuous improvement
Ability to work with a diverse student body with a broad range of interests and abilities
Ability to communicate effectively with students and peers
Experience in curriculum development at the professional level
Effective planning organizational and interpersonal skills
Other Requirements
In accordance with the Minnesota State Colleges & Universities (Minnesota State) Vehicle Fleet Safety Program employees driving on college/university business who use a rental or state vehicle shall be required to conform to Minnesota States vehicle use criteria and consent to a Motor Vehicle Records check.

Employment for this position is covered by the collective bargaining agreement for Minnesota State College Faculty MSCF which can be found at will be reviewed beginning April 7 2025 and continue until the position is filled.
Initial Salary Placement Range: $44143 $73690
