Venturi LLC A Chenega Company has an excellent career opportunity for an Advanced Architecture Analyst who willdefine and evaluate the Missile Defense System (MDS) capability trade space envelope architectural performance metrics and other highlevel performance metrics as applicable. This individual will work on the TEAMS Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering contract.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Scopes executes and documents the results of MDS architecture trade studies as a member of the Architecture Design Team.
Supports the development of Initial Requirements Documents Architecture Requirements Packages and other systems engineering artifacts related to the MDS as applicable.
Supports the development of alternative architecture concepts addressing projected capability gaps real world threats and intelligence community threat estimates.
Leads and coordinates the development of architecture requirements development and analysis in support of Service and Combatant Commands (CCMD) needs.
Leads develops and coordinates MDA vision and strategies to support the Warfighter including coordinating with DoD Joint Staff Services CCMDs Intel Community (IC) Other Governmental Agencies (OGA) national labs Industry and international partners.
Supports the Architecture Design Team to scope and define trade study methodologies measures and deliverables.
Supports activities of the Architecture Design Team; provides develops and delivers briefings addressing applicable trade study efforts; provides comment and review to work products developed by other Working Group members.
Coordinates future technology requirements across the breadth of MDA and with DoD Joint Staff Services the IC and OGAs.
Coordinates trade studyrelated activities and work products with teammates across the Architecture Design Team and external MDA stakeholders as applicable.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Required:
Masters degree and 12 years of relevant experience OR a Bachelors degree and 20 years of relevant experience
Active Secret clearance
Familiarity with DOD and MDA processes and procedures
Have detailed knowledge of the MDS to include Command and Control networks
Be able to successfully accomplish the duties by working with minimal guidance
Desired:
Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel and PowerPoint)
Preferred Navy veteran who held a position such as an Aegis Weapon System EDO or Joint Interface Control Officer or alternatively an Army/Air Force veteran who understands MDS Elements such asTHAAD/LTAMDS/Sentinel/PATRIOT/GMD
Understands the MDS technically more than what we typically think of as an Architect in the Systems Engineering sense
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work independently as a team member or leading teams/tasks applying engineering rigor to solve engineering/scientific problems.
Indepth practical and theoretical technical/engineering knowledge.
Working knowledge of missile defense system components and mission.
Familiarity with DOD and MDA processes and procedures.
Ability to work in a highpaced environment while coordinating with multiple organizations and leadership.
Proficient with Microsoft software applications.
Ability to execute and complete tasks with no supervision.
Ability to travel 2025 to CONUS and OCONUS locations.
Ability to work nights weekends and holidays as required.
