Job Description
Mission:
The Gross to Net (GTN) Specialist is a key member of IntegriChains SaaS and BPaaS Organization which provides managed services and business process outsourcing in support of biopharmaceutical clients.
- Drive Customer GTN Close and Forecast processes
- Prepare monthly revenue related journal entries and ledger account reconciliations leveraging both excel models and an automated GTN software suite
- Perform trueups based on actual versus accrued contra revenue GTN deduction items
- Conduct reconciliations of actual transaction data to the associated accrual assumptions
- Analyze explain and meaningfully summarize gross to net variances to customers
- Alert customers to potential changes that may affect their business
- Support the growth of the GTN Managed Services department
- Participate in developmental opportunities and training
- Track maintain and report monthly and quarterly operation metrics to direct supervisor
- Continuously communicate with customer points of contact
- Comply with internal policies/procedures to ensure SOC1 compliance and customer SLAs are met
- Support new analysts during the onboarding period. This includes department specific training customer training systems training and department workflow
- Create reusable department templates & training/reference materials
- Drive customer success
- Create ontime high quality project deliverables while managing expectations internally and externally
- Execute analyze and maintain GTN data and calculations within the GTN software suite
- Perform ongoing maintenance processes and communicate deficiencies through reporting mechanisms
- Perform analysis and troubleshooting for customers
- Anticipate and meet shifting customer needs proactively elevating issues as required
- Value and build relationships with customer IT operations and finance staff
- Collaborate crossfunctionally
- Work closely with the GTN Advisory team to provide critical analysis of GTNrelated data sets and triage customer issues and reconciliation variances
- Assist crossfunctional business teams to meet goals of shared service arrangements
- Attend customer department and company meetings
Qualifications :
What youll need to thrive in this role:
- Understanding of the GAAP principles related to revenue recognition and grosstonet accounting practices
- Knowledge of the pharma supply chain and contracting and the relationship to data flows through GTN models including but not limited to direct sales chargebacks rebates and copay data.
- Ability to demonstrate business analytical skills a high accuracy rate and attention to detail
- Exhibit superior communication and influencing skills: oral written listening and presentation skills
- Desire to continuously improve skills through continuing selftraining education and personal development
- Proactive with a pleasant manner; selfstarter with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility
- Ability to adhere to processes and controls to satisfy routine internal/ external audits
What youll bring to the table:
- Exceptional Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Minimum B.A. / B.S. CPA or MBA preferred with majors in Accounting Finance Economics or similar
- 13 years of Life Sciences industry experience
- Recommended 12 years of accounting experience working on the customer side or at a consultancy
- Knowledge and/or user experience in the financial system is a plus (SAP Oracle Hyperion forecast tools etc.
