Job Description
Countertop Installer Helper
- Job Type:TemptoHire
- Location:Downtown Tulsa OK
- Pay:$20 per hour (DOE)
- Shift:MondayFriday 7:30 AM4:00 PM
Job Responsibilities
- Transport load and unloadcountertop materials safely to and from job sites.
- Install countertops backsplashes and related fixturesaccording to project specifications.
- Cut shape and fit countertops onsiteas needed using power and hand tools.
- Secure countertopswith adhesives brackets and other fasteners for a stable installation.
- Take precise field measurementsto ensure an accurate fit before installation.
- Review blueprints templates and work ordersto confirm project requirements.
- Make onsite adjustmentsto ensure a perfect fit.
- Inspect finished installationsfor proper alignment stability and a polished appearance.
- Communicate with clientsto ensure satisfaction with the final installation.
- Address any modifications or issuesrequired during installation.
- Follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines including proper lifting techniques and equipment handling.
- Maintain and clean tools equipment and work vehicles.
- Ensure job sites are clean and free of debrisafter installation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experienceworking with granite quartz marble laminate or solid surfaces (preferred).
- Ability toread blueprints work orders and technical drawings.
- Skilled inusing power toolssuch as saws drills grinders and polishers.
- Comfortablelifting and carrying heavy countertop materials50100 lbs..
- Ability tostand kneel bend and work in confined spacesfor extended periods.
- Strongattention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Excellentcommunication and teamwork skills.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record(if using a company vehicle).
- Dependable withstrong attendance and punctuality.
- Highlydetailoriented and organized.
Physical Requirements
- Occasionally required tostand walk stoop kneel crouch or crawl.
- Frequently required tolift and/or move 50100 lbs.
- Frequent exposure tomoving mechanical parts.
- Occasional exposure tohot cold wet and humid conditions.
