Job Description
JOB OVERVIEW
Job Title: Cardiologist NonInvasive
Job Type: Permanent / FullTime
Location: Watertown NY
Service Setting: HospitalBased Outpatient & Inpatient Practice
Coverage Type: Clinical OnCall
Coverage Start Date: ASAP Ongoing
Shift Schedule: Monday Friday 7:30 AM 4:30 PM
OnCall Schedule: 1 week per month 1:4 rotation) supported by a robust hospitalist team
Call Type: Beeper
Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 30 days
PATIENT INFORMATION
Patient Demographics: Adults
Patient Volume: Average 24 patients per day
Admissions: Hospitalist team handles admissions
Rounding: Yes with support from APPs
Procedures Required: Yes (including pacemaker implantation and cardiac diagnostics)
APP Support: 3 Advanced Practice Providers
FACILITY INFORMATION
Trauma Level: Level III
EMR System: Medent
Technology Onsite:
EKG
Stress Testing
Holter Monitoring 3 14 days)
Pacemaker/ICD/ILR monitoring (inclinic and remote)
Transthoracic Echocardiography
Cardiac PET Nuclear Imaging
Implantable loop recorders
Soontobeadded: Cardiac Cath Lab
Catchment Area: 250000 population including Fort Drum
QUALIFICATIONS
Board Certification: Required American Board of Internal Medicine/Cardiovascular Medicine
Licensure: Must be eligible for NY State Medical License
Experience: Cardiologists with a passion for clinical excellence and teamwork
Other Skills: Patientcentered care philosophy interest in teaching welcomed
