The Senior Financial Analyst partners with plant leadership and segment leaders to
provide financial analytics that help drive business results in support of the shortterm and longterm
goals and objectives of the plant. The position delivers analysis as part of finance linking financial results
to operational performance drivers. The ideal candidate for this position is resourceful a good problem
solver and organized; assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is key to success in
this position. Successful candidate will have a strong commitment to ethics and integrity. This position
reports to the IGT Plant Controller and is 100 onsite.
Responsibilities:
Identify process issues analyze root causes and follow through on corrective actions needed for
resolution.
Lead spendcontrol activities while partnering with key departmental stakeholders to drive results.
Determine in conjunction with plant management targeted goals for performance measures of
quality productivity delivery cycle time inventory optimization and profitability.
Support operational reporting P&;L projection & management monthly forecasting and annual
planning.
Identify and execute opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains through
automation.
Analyze data for decision making and track performance progress.
Support monthend closing process including preparing journal entries posting journal entries
and managing account reconciliations.
Ensures completion of Howmet s SarbanesOxley requirements for internal controls including
leading monthly internal control testing.
Lead and execute other special projects as assigned by the Plant Controller including ability to
build excel models.
Perform job duties in a safe and efficient manner.
Comply with Howmet s financial reporting requirements.

Organization Strong organizational skills.
Bachelors degree in accounting finance or business.
Minimum of 5 years experience in Finance or Accounting in a manufacturing environment.
High proficiency in MS Office software particularly Advanced Excel skills.
Experience with ERP systems preferably Hyperion Oracle or similar systems.
Preferred:
Qualified Accountant CPA CMA and/or MBA.

Education
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or business. Minimum of 5 years experience in Finance or Accounting in a manufacturing environment. High proficiency in MS Office software, particularly Advanced Excel skills. Experience with ERP systems, preferably Hyperion, Oracle or similar systems.
