How This Role Impacts Live Oak and its People
This position will be responsible for the Vendor Management process flow including system updates reporting and contract handling. This position will work closely with all business lines in addition to Senior Vendor Manager.
What Youll Do at Live Oak
Primary responsibility is to support the critical tools processes and management information necessary to support an operational Vendor Management function.
Demonstrate a high level of technical knowledge in data and database analysis applying their expertise in defining new and innovative solutions and automating processes whenever possible that drive risk mitigation.
Coordinate the handling of renewal of agreements as well as appropriate handling of any terminations.
Provide system support and timely reporting to Business Owners and maintenance and evolution of reporting of key Vendor Management metrics within the software application.
Assist with onboarding activities of third parties as required within the Vendor Management Program.
How Youll Do It
Manage the backend infrastructure and databases that support the Vendor Management tools processes and management information necessary to support an operational Vendor Management function.
Assist with development and maintenance of the Vendor Management software including all workflow and reporting methodology.
Maintenance and continuous development and evolution of reporting in the Vendor Management software application and issuance of recurring reports. Providing quality attestation to the management information in such reports.
Provides first line application support to the Vendor Management software application users including training sessions.
Works with a range of stakeholders across the Bank to manage user access requests and provisions.
Adheres to compliance procedures and internal Vendor Management controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards requirements and policies.
Required and Preferred Experience
13 years of relevant Vendor Management Third Party Risk Management or related experience
Experience supporting financial/banking industries preferred.
Experience in data analytics and manipulation including the use of querying tools preferred.
Fundamental understanding of Risk Management lifecycle.
Experience in analysis and presentation of data producing clear and concise reports
Experience in supporting userbased applications.
Experience of managing relationships with business stakeholders and building positive relationships.
Good understanding of general business processes strong research capabilities troubleshooting skills and a natural drive to improve utilization of systems capabilities.
Welldeveloped analytical skills problem solving and good critical thinking skills.
Wellorganized ability to prioritize multiple tasks and to bring open projects to closure.
Ability to gather and analyze information identify root causes and suitable solutions.
High level of attention to detail and quality assurance.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to respond positively to rapidly changing priorities and business needs.
Demonstrated strong and sound decision making abilities.
Ability to work well in a timesensitive and at times confidential environment and handle a variety of matters or projects simultaneously.
College degree or relevant experience
