The mission of the Amazon Payments Compliance team is to build infrastructure that enables Amazons paying experiences and payment products to scale globally.
This role will be focused on defining the strategic longterm vision and roadmap for this new Amazon function. This will include working closely with engineering data science operations and product stakeholders as well as other business teams to figure out the north star and how to get there.
Key job responsibilities Influence and drive technical decisions by weighing technical and business tradeoffs. Define the 3year roadmap for the team including prioritization mental model and financial implications. Assess the ROI of new infrastructure builds by defining use cases and building out the business case. Communicate the vision mission and plan of the team to senior leadership.
A day in the life You will work with engineers and data scientists to develop and execute new technologies that support both customer and seller payment experiences. You will rally support for your vision across the org and communicate your plans to senior leadership.
About the team This is a newly formed team within the Amazon Payments organization focused on developing new infrastructure that accelerates development and expansion of existing businesses across Amazon globally. We are looking for a strong product leader to drive our initiatives across the company.
5 years of product or program management product marketing business development or technology experience Bachelors degree Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition Experience with end to end product delivery Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product Experience managing technical products or online services Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executivelevel prioritization and planning
Experience in using analytical tools such as Tableau Qlikview QuickSight Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
