Job Description

The Amazon Fresh Grocery team is excited to welcome an Instock Manager to our dynamic supply chain team based in Chicago IL Nashville TN Seattle WA New York City or Arlington VA.

As an Instock Manager (ISM) within Amazon Fresh Grocery youll take on a critical role at the forefront of developing supply chain plans with our vendors overseeing their and delivering against our service level and cost to serve goals. Leading internal and external crossfunctional initiatives will be second nature as you drive improvements to enhance customer experience and overall cost structures. Your leadership will extend across both Online and InStore channels.

To be successful in this role you should feel comfortable operating in a supply chain where using data is at the core of every decision. Through building scalable systems and processes we aim to drive our business growth in the grocery space. In joining this team you will have the opportunity to both build and operate in an ambiguous fastpaced environment and will drive initiatives that improve sales customer experience and process improvement within retail and supply chain operations.

Success starts by being a selfstarter highly organized and possessing strong data extraction and analytical capabilities. In this role we look for you to be thoughtful in the your pursuit of results and thrive in a high energy environment where tactical and strategic activities are expected to be driven in parallel.

Strong candidates will have knowledge in fundamental business principles and previous Retail and/or supply chain experience. The ideal candidate is able to lead and influence both internal and external teams in an ambiguous environment while maintaining a customercentric philosophy.

Key job responsibilities
A successful Instock Manager will:
Manage supply planning and inventory health through: product availability metrics inventory planning vendor operational management (OTIF cost to serve) demand forecast translation and waste reduction.
Drive crossfunctional strategic initiatives to improve customer experience and overall cost structure delivered by the supply chain
Perform complex business analysis to identify business opportunities to improve performance to drive revenue and profitability
Partner with internal teams to develop tools automation and process improvements that affect purchasing and vendor management workflows within the supply chain

As an Instock Manager youll collaborate closely with top suppliers internal stakeholders across supply chain operations category management tech teams finance and leadership to enhance supply chain and undertheroof operational excellence. 3 years of with Excel experience
4 years of supply chain inventory management or project management experience
Bachelors degree or 3 years of professional or military experience
Experience with SQL

Knowledge of the principles of statistical inventory control

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
