Job Title: SCM Associate Operator
Location: Bloomington IN
Position Type: Fulltime 40 hours/week. 1st Shift
Reports To: SCM Supervisor

Skills
Computer experience necessary or willing to gain knowledge quickly. Ability to work with Microsoft Office (Outlook Excel Word) a plus. Experience using ERP or inventory systems is not required but very useful.
Must be able to work within the FDA regulated environment per its specific requirements and those established by internal policy and standard operating procedures.
Must learn to speak professionally and effectively with auditing agencies on procedures and work activities.
Effectively work within the configuration and rule process set up within an ERP system and bar code scanning environment to accurately manage inventory throughout the business.
Pay great attention to detail and be very organized to all aspects of the position.
Obtain training on the aspects of logistics hired to perform and apply them consistently and efficiently. Obtain training in ancillary areas of other functions to assist as needed. (Accept deliveries hand off shipments load and unload trucks transfer materials inventory movements operate forklifts/scissor lifts etc.
Shipping:
Pulling material from warehouse locations using Fork truck and scissor lift as needed
Shipping of daily client material via designated carrier
Managing temperature sensitive materials appropriately
Obtain certificates according to IATA/DOT regulations for hazardous materials shipping.
Receiving:
Physically receiving client material from delivery drivers and inspecting for damage
Electronically receiving client material within the Singota ERP system and client inventory system (as applicable).
Managing temperature sensitive materials appropriately
Working to keep any client material put in appropriate bin locations when necessary to keep staging areas clear
Attitude
Warehoused material must be treated with applicable caution per documented hazards and also with great care based on value.
Must diligently practice all departmental programs and procedures per safety guidelines.
Positive Attitude and willingness to work as part of a diverse team to achieve overall goals of supply chain group.
Must be very customer focused to internal personnel.
Handling RCRA regulated materials.
Activities
Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
Able to work in a 5C 33F) environment for periods of time.
Must be willing to work off shift from time to time to accommodate increased or situational demand.
Perform general housekeeping of warehouse (i.e. breaking down boxes emptying trash removing pallets from staging clearing docks etc.
Putting material away in warehouse using fork truck and scissor lift as needed
