The role
The Senior Systems Administrator plays a crucial role in enhancing and supporting the organisations systems. In this role you will be responsible for providing systems administration for the Departments Microsoft Windows Server fleet hosted in AWS Azure and on premise. Your role will be to administer support maintain and monitor these systems utilising your strong Microsoft Windows server and Microsoft Active Directory systems administration knowledge and skills. In addition you will also provide customer focused support responding to the teams customer support requests in Service Now.

What you will bring to the role

Key knowledge and experience
Proven experience in a similar position including Microsoft Windows server administration and providing customer focused support. A detailed and current knowledge of Windows Server operating system 2012 through 2025 and multi domain management in a federated environment. Competency with Active Directory and DNS is expected. You will also have an excellent understanding and experience in maintaining the operational security and integrity of these services.
Experience in using PowerShell for task automation MECM & Server fleet patching
Highly desirable is an understanding of Azure Active Directory Microsoft Power Platform administration and M365 suite systems administration.
Experience in creation and maintenance of system and procedure documentation
Experience working with a high level of autonomy delivering ICT systems administration and support program and project related work (ideally within a large multifaceted business enterprise)
Essential requirements
Relevant industry certification for ICT systems platforms and or services or equivalent experience
