Professionals in network administration are responsible for managing and maintaining computer networks to ensure reliable and secure connectivity for users and devices. They utilize their expertise in network technologies protocols and security practices to design implement and optimize network infrastructure and services. Typical responsibilities include configuring and maintaining network devices such as routers switches firewalls and wireless access points monitoring network performance and traffic patterns and troubleshooting network issues to identify and resolve connectivity and performance problems. Network administration roles also involve implementing network security measures such as firewalls intrusion detection systems and VPNs to protect against cyber threats and unauthorized access. Additionally professionals may plan and execute network upgrades and migrations perform network capacity planning and provide technical support and training to endusers and other IT staff. Their expertise in areas such as network design routing and switching network protocols and network management tools enables organizations to maintain robust and scalable network infrastructure that supports business operations and enables seamless communication and collaboration.
You solve routine realworld problems by using basic skills. As an employee you: Work on routine assignments of limited scope and complexity and recognize and resolve basic routine or common problems. Perform clearly defined tasks to fulfill project objectives; apply basic level of professional methods/skills in single or multiple areas. Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors including but not limited to the combination of education certifications knowledge skills competencies and experience internal and external equity location clearance level as well as contractspecific affordability organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this positionis based on full time status. For part time or oncall staff compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important its just one component of Noblis total compensation package.
