- Lexington Medical Center (Lexington NC)
What Youll Need:
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing. BSN preferred.
- 2 years of nursing experience in specialty area required.
- Registered Nurse licensure from the State of North Carolina
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 1 year of hire for Adult Critical Care Adult ED
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 1 year of hire for Network ED Peds ED PICU and NICU and other areas per unit guidelines
- Additional education training certifications or experience may be required within the department by the nurse leader.

- Analyze the assessment data to determine the actual or potential diagnoses problem and issues.
- Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the healthcare consumer or the situation.
- Develop a plan that prescribes strategies to attain expected measurable outcomes.
- Implement the identified plan coordinates care delivery and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
- Delegate elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers in accordance with any applicable legal or policy parameters or principles.
- Evaluate progress toward attainment of goals and outcomes.

Physical Requirements:
- Work requires walking standing sitting lifting reaching stooping bending pushing and pulling.
- Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients medical equipment and supplies. Must speak English in good understandable terms.
- Intact sense of sight hearing smell touch. Finger dexterity.
- Critical thinking and ability to concentrate.
- Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.
