You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe University of Iowa Institute for Clinical and Translational Science (ICTS) Clinical Research Unit (CRU) is seeking a research assistant to be an integral member of the team. This position conducts clinical research within parameters of study protocols through the ICTS CRU. Assists in the performance of clinical research sample processing shipping record management electronic data entry scheduling compiling results; and to collect tabulate and assist in the processing of samples obtained. Performs difficult technical procedures and allied duties related to a function of a clinical environmental teaching or research laboratory; maintains laboratory area and equipment. Provides functional supervision to Laboratory Assistants and students as required.

About ICTS: The Institute for Clinical and Translational Science (ICTS) at the University of Iowa was approved by the Iowa Board of Regents in 2007 to support the work of investigators involved in clinical and translational science. Our mission is to accelerate translational science through programs to develop the translational workforce to promote engagement of community members and other stakeholders to promote research integration across the lifespan and to catalyze innovative clinical and translational research. These efforts will lead to the development of novel therapies and healthcare delivery strategies the integration of translational research and clinical practice and ultimately to measurable improvements in the health of Iowa and the nation.

Pay Grade: 3A
Regular salaried position located in Iowa City Iowa
