Spartech LLC has an opening on our 3 pm to 11 pm Shift for a combined role of Warehouse Material Stores and Operator to join our team in Crawfordsville IN. The Crawfordsville operation of the organization specializes in extruding and converting flat plastic sheet. Plastic sheet may have graphics added and then die cut into license plates dog collars (lamp shade) used in veterinary clinics signage file folders 3ring binders covers for school date books for example. We reuse our s plastic whenever possible to create our environmentally friendly products. Come join our Warehouse team as they pull sheet for production use and inventory incoming sheet and s and as needed operate our Digital Print Press Flat Cut or other production equipment.

General Summary and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for creating inventory picks to be shipped out or for use internally and for maintaining an accurate warehouse inventory. Operating various machines efficiently to produce good quality product safely.

Key Responsibilities to include:

• Responsible for inventory accuracy and inventory documentation to control desired level of inventory.
• Takes delivery of inspects warehouses and distributes inventoried items.
• Responsible for ensuring that stock issues meet job specifications and production schedules.
• Takes delivery of and racks material to inventory to make the most efficient use of warehouse space.
• Performs cycle counts as required.
• Responsible for taking delivery of and documenting vendor supplied materials.
• Uses software to get information as to stock locations and to perform computerized transfer quantity adjustments and consumption transactions.
• Review Traveler to determine the specs and details on the production order.
• Setup and operate machine to produce product.
• Perform appropriate quality checks.
• Make adjustments or changes during production run as neededto meet customer specs.
• Record production in shop system.

• High School diploma or experience demonstrating equivalent skills and abilities
• Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred but not required
• Basic math skills
• Previous experience on sitdown and standup forklift a plus
• Able to read and use a tape measure and micrometer
• Frequently lift up to 60 pounds
• Will be required to work at heights and under adverse ambient temperature conditions
• Able to use a hand truck to move materials and move heavier loads with forklift
• Able to stand for extended periods of time
