Job Description
Job Title: Database Engineer
Summary:
We are seeking a Database Engineer to join our IT department. The ideal candidate will have 12 years of experience in database management and development. The Database Engineer will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining database systems to ensure optimal performance and data integrity.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Design develop and implement database solutions to meet business needs
Monitor and optimize database performance
Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolution
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate database systems with other applications
Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information
Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in database management
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
12 years of experience in database management and development
Proficiency in SQL and database management systems such as Oracle MySQL or SQL Server
Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
