Compensation and Benefits
Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $5540 $5817 per month
Full CSU Classification Salary Range: $5540 $7893 per month
The CSU system provides a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical dental and vision plans membership in the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS) sick and vacation time and 15 paid holidays a year. Job Summary
Under the general direction of the Director of the Cross Cultural and Gender Center (CCGC) the Coordinator for African American Programs and Services (AFAM) develops implements and evaluates programs initiatives and services that enhance the success wellbeing and sense of belonging of African American students at Fresno State. The Coordinator serves as the primary advocate and liaison for the AFAM student community working collaboratively with campus departments student organizations and external partners to provide educational opportunities cultural programming and leadership development. Through strategic engagement and mentorship the Coordinator fosters an inclusive environment that promotes academic excellence identity development and social justice.

Education and Experience
A masters degree in Counseling Clinical Psychology Social Work or a directly related field may be substituted for one year of experience. A doctorate degree and the appropriate internship or clinical training in counseling or guidance may be substituted for the three years of experience for positions with a major responsibility for professional career or personal counseling.
