We are looking for an experienced Deputy Nurse Manager to join our clients dedicated team. As the Deputy Nurse Manager you will play a crucial role in assisting the Nursing Home Manager with the overall direction coordination and evaluation of nursing care and services provided to their residents.
This supernumerary position offers the opportunity to focus on leadership and management responsibilities allowing you to make a real difference in the delivery of outstanding care.

- Professional Registration: Valid registration as a Registered General Nurse (Adult) (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
- Experience: Proven experience in a nursing leadership or supervisory role.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Clinical Expertise: Strong clinical assessment and decisionmaking abilities.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant regulations and best practices in elder care and/or mental health care.

Responsibilities
- Operational Support: Assist the Home Manager in the daily operations of the nursing department.
- Leadership & Team Development: Provide leadership and support to nursing staff including training mentoring and performance management.
- Resident Care: Implement and monitor care plans for residents ensuring highquality personcentred care.
- Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for residents.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate and uptodate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Promoting a Positive Culture: Uphold a culture of safety compassion and respect within the nursing team and across the care facility.
