Job Description

Were looking for a Guest Services Agent who is a hardworking friendly charismatic person who wants to personalize the guest experience. The ideal candidate is dedicated personable professional and communicates well. This person will play a critical role in the Front Office team and will report to the Director of Front Office. This is a nonexempt position.

The Normandy Hotel sits just off Connecticut Avenue tucked among the stately embassies of peaceful Kalorama with the bistros and boutiques of DuPont Circle neighborhood just around the corner. The eclectic cuisine and independent shops of Adams Morgan are just a short jaunt away and when its time to return The Normandy feels like coming home. Welcoming attentive and personalized service is the hallmark of The Normandy. What You Will Be Doing

  • Provide exceptional personalized customer service and experiences to guests.
  • Live like a local. Knowledge of the neighborhood and city.
  • Think on your feet use good judgement and problem solve in a fastpaced environment.
  • Provide support to guest services leaders and the entire hotel team.
  • Assist in Valet Parking guest cars when needed
  • Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

What Were Looking For

  • Passion for hospitality and providing excellent guest service. This enthusiasm will be apparent from speaking with you.
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office.
  • Open availability required. Must be prepared to work various shifts (for example: 73pm 311pm weekdays weekends holidays).
