R&Ds mission is to create and design groundbreaking sound system technologies and products for both hardware and software. Our R&D team also collaborates with Application Design and other departments to develop innovative and highperformance sound systems while ensuring reliability and durability under intensive and demanding use.
We are looking for an FPGA Engineer to join our Electronics Department.
The team you will join:
You will be part of an expert team whose mission is to design the hardware for bestinclass user experience and unmatched reliability for the entire range of LAcoustics devices including amplified controllers audio processors network equipment and more multimedia products to come.
Those platforms embed processor boards typically with an ARM processor running a real time operating system alongside Sharc DSP(s) and FPGA(s).
The FPGA has time sensitive missions like taking part in the AVB/TSN ethernet network stack as well as audio signal processing tasks.
As part of the Electronics Department will be part of a broader R&D team including Acoustics Mechanics Application SW and Documentation.
All this taking place in an international context.
You will experience the mindset of a startup with the structure tools and impact of a global enterprise and market leader.
What you will contribute to:
Participate in product architecture and design.
Write specification.
VHDL coding targeted at FPGAs (preferably but not restricted to INTEL).
Simulation with Modelsim.
System on chip designs (ARM IPs).
Write timing constraints (sdc) to match HW requirements.
Test and measurement on HW target (Oscilloscope Audio Precision).
Document the implementation.
Share ideas with colleagues within the team as well as outside.
What you will need to be successful
Masters degree in Electrical Engineering required
5 years of experience
Excellent analytical skills perseverance and attention to detail.
Curious eager to learn and quickly adapt to new requirements and technologies.
Plays team spirit.
Autonomous with strong sense of responsibility.
Good spoken and written English.
Audio enthusiast.
