Job Description
My client is one of the most prestigious quantitative trading firms in the world to work for.
They are looking for a Linux Production Engineer that can work closely with their trading teams in a fastpaced environment.
You would need to relocate to Philadelphia for this role.

Whats the Job
In this role you will be part of the centralized technology team but embedded with the Quantitative Traders Developers and Researchers.
You will be working with them on a daytoday basis to help support their trading operations and helping them change strategies and parameters in real time.
Your team will be in a team with 5 other production engineers and you will report to a Team Lead.
You will be focused on infrastructure including supporting a distributed production system and building automation for the trading desks.
You will use Python Bash and Shell and other related DevOps tools.
Communication and interaction with stakeholders is key and you will use your communication skills heavily in this role.
What Skills Do You Need
They are open for years of experience as long as you have at least 2 years of experience.
Buyside and/or trading industry experience (not banking) is required.
Expertlevel Linux Bash and Shell scripting ability.
Excellent communication skills and high energy level.
STEM Undergraduate degree.
Compensation
$200000 $350000 Total Compensation depending on level of experience.
