DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Nikkei dishes combining Japanese and Peruvian ingredients and techniques
- Develop and innovate new menu items that reflect the fusion of Japanese and Peruvian cuisines
- Ensure the highest standards of food quality presentation and hygiene
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow
- Manage inventory order supplies and ensure proper storage of ingredients
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Nikkei cooking techniques and standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
Preferred qualifications:
- Proven experience in the same position with a focus on Nikkei or fusion cuisine
- Familiar in working in a structured and large brigade
- Strong knowledge of Japanese and Peruvian culinary techniques and ingredients.
- Creativity and passion for developing unique and flavorful dishes.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
