Position Information
TheDepartment of Parks and Recreation Maintenance Support Services Division has one 1vacancy for Plumbing Supervisor Iin the Aiea/Pearl City/Halawa area.
Special Work Requirements: This position serves as a Disaster Response Worker and sometimes requires working beyond the normal workday on weekends as necessary to meet schedules and deadlines. May be called to work while on offduty status to respond to laborer emergencies. Employee shall provide a valid afterhours contact number.This position is required to have unescorted access to the Joint Traffic Management Center (JTMC) and the Honolulu Police Department (HPD) Headquarters and any police station. Any employee with unescorted access to secured areas and equipment related to the JTMC requires a fingerprintbased national criminal history record check prior to assignment to this position authorized by HRS 8462.7 (b)37 and in accordance with JTMC Policy No. 2016B.06. FingerprintBased Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) and CHRC Clearance. A separate background check is required for HPD.

At time of application you must be a citizen national or permanent resident alien of the United States or a noncitizen eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Experience and/or training of sufficient scope and quality to show competence in plumbing work involving the installation maintenance and repair of water gas drainage and sewer systems and necessary fittings and accessories in buildings and structures.
LICENSE REQUIREMENT:1. Valid Hawaii State journeylevel plumbers certificate of registration at the time of application.Verification Requirement: You must submit a copy of your plumber certificate. 2. Possession of a valid Hawaii State drivers license (Type 3/automobile) at the time of application.
