Position Overview
Keep our communities fed.Our focus is simple but meaningful from our distribution centers to our offices every employee of C&S and their family of companies works to help feed local families neighbors and communities. Hourly warehouse selectors support our cause with safe accurate and efficient selection of itemized general merchandise products for shipment to stores.
Job Description
Earn $16.45 per hour
Fulltime Monday Friday 5:30am 1:30pm
600 Arsenal Road York PA 17404
You will contribute by:
Reading order sheets or using headset to find and select items
Removing units from full cases in specified quantities
Putting away any incoming product
Checking quantities of pick slots and filling as needed
Staging product or loading if necessary
Ensuring item pick accuracy and safety of product to prevent product damage
Maintaining sanitation in the aisles according to policy and procedure
Performing other jobrelated duties as assigned
Whats a great way to stay in shape
Continually Standing bending pulling lifting pivoting up to 90 of shift
Walking on various surfaces including concrete tile carpet etc.
Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 60 lbs. or more
Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead
Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools

Were searching for candidates with:
One or more years of experience operating material handling equipment preferred
Strong sense of safety and ability to follow standard safety procedures
Teamoriented outlook with a passion for helping others
Desire to work in a union workforce
Ability and willingness to follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures
