We are seeking a skilled Senior Automation Engineer with a strong background in Cypress to join our team. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining our automated testing framework ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automation a strong understanding of testing principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
The Senior Automation Engineer can be based any of our U.S. office locations (New York NY; Philadelphia PA; Boston MA; Braintree MA; Woburn MA; Princeton NJ; Whippany NJ; East Brunswick NJ; Red Bank NJ; Saddle Brook NJ; Providence RI; Baltimore MD; Bethesda MD; Nashville TN; Boca Raton FL; Orlando FL; San Diego CA; Los Angeles CA; Orange County CA; San Francisco CA; San Ramon CA; Portland OR; Seattle WA) or remotely anywhere within the US.
How Youll Spend Your Time:
- Designing developing and executing automated test scripts using Cypress for web applications
- Leading and coordinating efforts with Automation Engineers in a collaborative way that emphasizes teamwork
- Communicating effectively and presenting work to the client including demonstrating the functionality and reliability of the automation solutions
- Collaborating with QA and development teams to identify and prioritizing test cases for automation
- Maintaining and enhancing existing automation frameworks and test suites
- Analyzing test results identifying issues and reporting defects clearly and concisely
- Participating in code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Staying up to date with the latest testing tools technologies and industry trends.
The Kinds of People We Want to Talk to Have Many of the Following:
- 57 years of experience in software testing and automation.
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Strong proficiency in Cypress and JavaScript.
- Experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with various testing methodologies and techniques (e.g. functional regression integration testing).
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g. Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to have:
- Experience with other automation tools like Selenium.
- Knowledge of API testing and performance testing.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience in testing web applications built with Angular or React.
- Experience with Scrum teams and methodologies.

The compensation for this position will vary by location. If you reside in California New York City Washington D.C. Washington State Massachusetts Maryland or Rhode Island please see below. In addition to the base compensation Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance. Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors such as the specific role hiring location as well as the individuals skills experience and qualifications. Washington Seattle ranges are $7590 per hour
Washington DC ranges are $7590 per hour
Maryland Baltimore ranges are $7590 per hour
Rhode Island Providence ranges are $7590 per hour
