We are looking for a passionate data enthusiast to join our team someone who will take the Data Infrastructure and Analytical models of the North America Reliability Maintenance Engineering team to the next level. If you are a solid analytical thinker a metricsdriven decisionmaker and are interested in collecting and storing large volumes of data building analytical models and solving problems with solutions that will meet the growing global needs then Reliability Maintenance Engineering is the team for you. We are seeking topnotch Data Engineers to be part of our worldclass business analytics team.
The ideal candidate thrives when working with large volumes of data enjoys tackling complex technical challenges and above all is passionate about data and analytics. They will be an expert in data modeling ETL design and business intelligence tools and will work closely with business stakeholders to identify strategic opportunities where improvements in data infrastructure can have a significant business impact. The ideal candidate is a selfstarter comfortable navigating ambiguity able to think big while paying careful attention to detail and enjoys working in a fastpaced global team environment.

4 years of data engineering experience
Experience with data modeling warehousing and building ETL pipelines
Experience building largescale highthroughput 24x7 data systems
Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language such as Python Java Scala or NodeJS
Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring other engineers for best practices on data engineering
Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift S3 AWS Glue EMR Kinesis FireHose Lambda and IAM roles and permissions
Experience with nonrelational databases / data stores (object storage document or keyvalue stores graph databases columnfamily databases)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $205600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
