Job Description

Amazon is looking for a mandarin speaking Business Developer. This candidate will partner in launching a new startup from the beginning of its life cycle and will lead sales generation with small to medium sized customers.

Amazon Freight is building systems and capabilities to ensure that external shippers freight in the Amazon network (vendors suppliers sellers) is moved with the highest service and lowest possible costs. To meet this goal we are continually striving to innovate and provide bestinclass service levels. You will efficiently negotiate terms and close deals with external shippers. Internally you will work with functions that cut across the organization including legal technology marketing transportation and customer service to drive great customer experience for our program.

You will communicate with senior stakeholders within the Amazon Leadership team as well as work with leaders at major companies to strengthen partner relations. You will build customized innovative logistics solutions drive process improvement standardize procedures and negotiate.

*** This candidate may also be based out of Chicago Illinois or Nashville TN.

Key job responsibilities
Prospect to identify create and qualify opportunities through cold calling and email outreach.
Engage and present to prospects via inperson presentations or webbased tools.
Your success will be measured by achievement of individual activity and opportunity creation as well as new shipper launch and revenue goals.
This role requires you to be fluent in Mandarin and English.

Bachelors degree
Speak write and read fluently in Mandarin
Speak write and read fluently in English
2 Years experience in full funnel Business to Business (B2B) Sales

Experience in exceeding quota and key performance metrics

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $52000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $111300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
