Job Description
Our operations network known for our speed accuracy and exceptional service delivers millions of packages and smiles to Amazon customers every day. To keep our operations network secure and assure operational continuity we are looking for an experienced professional who wants to join our Last Mile Program Implementation (LM PI) team as Program Manager for Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
In this key role you will be responsible for ensuring that your area of responsibility efficiently and effectively provides security services and asset protection (i.e. lives buildings equipment data and professional property) through the design of physical infrastructure and processes across the EMEA Amazon Logistics and Amazon Partner Logistics environment.
Key job responsibilities
Endtoend own build maintain and improve complex riskbased security programs and projects specific to Amazon Logistics and Amazon Partner Logistics within EMEA to prevent theft and losses
Develop riskbased as well as costeffective security solutions and engage internal and external stakeholders to implement the security solutions
Create security standards programs assessments and procedures and collaborate with key regional stakeholders for their consistent implementation
Ensure compliance to security standards and requirements partner with stakeholders to implement effective audit programs to detect prevent and mitigate Amazon Logistics and Amazon Partner Logistics losses and follow up on definition and implementation of corrective action plans
Contribute to reducing business losses from security incidents by identifying and understanding vulnerabilities MOs and implementing appropriate protection measures
A day in the life
As a Program Manager on the LM PI team you will support the Security and Loss Prevention team with endtoend owning developing maintaining and continuously improving complex riskbased security projects and programs specific to Amazon Logistics and Amazon Partner Logistics within EMEA.
To achieve this goal you will develop and implement comprehensive security projects and programs aligned with organizational goals. You identify assess as well as prioritize risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. You will also ensure that all security projects and programs comply with relevant laws regulations and local standards and you provide ongoing training on security best practices for the personnel involved in your projects and programs.
About the team
Working in partnership with our stakeholders Security and Loss Prevention secures the Amazon supply chain endtoend and promotes security during business conversations. Sitting within Security and Loss Prevention the LM PI team does this by developing and implementing risk mitigation programs to prevent Security and Loss Preventionrelated risks and vulnerabilities within Amazon Logistics and Amazon Partner Logistics as early as possible.
Continually assessing the programs and adjusting to support the everchanging operational requirements we deep dive root causes and embed standards and processes to improve productivity and prevent reoccurrence of incidents. We also provide frameworks for standards to enable business units conduct their daily operational tasks whilst mitigating risks accordingly.
To reach this goal we collect and consolidate information to evaluate existing as well as evolving modus operandi. Collaborating with additional Security and Loss Prevention support function teams we assess the risk and develop programs to minimize potential impact. We also provide strategic tactical and operational programs for customers as well as stakeholders business needs and priorities by working closely with EMEA business leaders support functions and other security functions in a global framework.
A degree or degree equivalent (e.g. business project management criminal justice)
Relevant advanced experience within retail supply chain compliance or operations
Relevant advanced experience delivering projects or programs at international scale
Relevant advanced experience working with the MS Office suite (Word Excel Outlook) in a professional environment
Upper intermediate proficiency in written and verbal English
Relevant industry certification (e.g. CPP TAPA ISO AEO CTPAT)
Relevant advanced experience in multisite/country environment managing security and loss prevention in logistics or transportation
Relevant advanced experience with conducting physical security risk assessments
Relevant advanced experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Ability to interact with all levels of leadership within the organization to drive consensus regarding new solutions policies and procedures
